Brought to Romania for the first time, the "Navigating Between the Poles" Program consists of four stages aimed at developing a balanced lifestyle for people suffering from bipolar disorder.
STAGE I – PSYCHIATRY
Drug treatment of bipolar disorder is long-term, requiring personalization for each patient and constant monitoring.
The relationship with the psychiatrist plays an essential role in the success of treatment, which is why our specialists are always available for questions and support.
It is essential that patients follow treatment rigorously. Interrupting it can lead to a very high risk of recurrence, exceeding 95%.
STAGE II – PSYCHOEDUCATION
The "Navigating Between Poles" program includes a psychoeducation course structured into 4 sessions, held over the course of a month. Each session lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The content is designed to help you better understand bipolar disorder – from possible causes to factors that can trigger episodes. The information is based on the Colom and Vieta method – a recognized model for developing the skills necessary to manage bipolar disorder.
STAGE III – PSYCHOTHERAPY
Psychotherapy plays an essential role in understanding and managing bipolar disorder by helping patients better understand their psychological peculiarities, discover more effective strategies for preventing episodes, and understand the psychodynamic mechanisms that may contribute to their triggering.
Within the "Navigand ente Poles" program, individual therapy is conducted in 4 sessions per month, using the IPSRT method.
STAGE IV – SKILLS COURSE
A skills course is an essential component in a complete treatment plan for bipolar disorder.
It helps you become more aware of the manifestations of the condition and learn practical methods for coping with depressive, manic, or hypomanic episodes.
As part of the "Sailing Between the Poles" program, the skills course takes place once a month, for one hour, in a small group.
